This bass flute stand has been redesigned based on input from the bass flute players themselves. Due to the size and weight of bass flutes, the base has been increased to 9" x 9". The thickness of the solid walnut is now milled from 5/4" stock. That is sawmill speak for a board 1 1/4" thick. After planing and sanding the board is around 1 1/16+".
The stand includes a peg which has been increased to 12" long by 1" in diameter.
A 20" x 1" peg is available for vertical bass flutes with the pin extended. This peg adds $15.00 to the total cost of the stand.
Includes 3 10-24 threaded inserts. Extra pegs are available here
