e 22 piece orchestra made up of Motown moonlighters and stellar local session men kicked into their sumptuous Las Vega style introductory vamp the croud on the vast Pine Knob Amphitheater in Detroit, Mi. sensed they would be in for a historic afternoon of music.
Unbeknownst to Gladys, Budda records in conjunction with the Pips had chosen this concert to record “The Way We Were/Try to Remember” which would become their biggest hit of 1975
